Transgender and Nonbinary issues: a new section on the GSA board

A couple of weeks ago I made a new section on the board titled Cisgender and Nonbinary Issues. For this section, I made three new infographics for this section. One was about cisgender privilege, which is an infographic that is heavily based on this wonderful list of cisgender privileges from It’s Pronounced Metrosexual.

The second was on how we should say pregnant people rather than pregnant women, while I did not use a lot of resources for this subject (my mother is an Obstetrician) I do have a couple of resources if you want to learn more: an article by the Atlantic that includes an interview with an activist, and here is an article from Parents about why using gender-affirming language in pregnancy is important.

The third was on how to bind your chest safely. I used two different articles and my own experiences for this infographic. Both of the articles have similar information but the first one from Clue is more gender-neutral, so I prefer it. The less gender-neutral one is from a site called healthessentials.
